  • Stephanie Connell has been cast as Pauline in the forthcoming feature film Service Man.
  • She has been cast to do a series of medical role plays for the NHS in the East of England in May to July.
  • She was featured in a commercial launching Mia Minerals, a new makeup range, for JML's Shopping Channels on Sky in April.
  • She did a second playreading of A One Way Ticket to Palookaville by Anthony Murphy, again playing the character of Mrs Ma O'Rourke, at the Actors & Writers London in early March.
  • She has been appointed to do a series of medical role-plays for the East of England Project 'Supporting Self Management' with CFEP UK Surveys over the next few months.
  • She played Hermoine/Doris/Camilla in a playreading of From Page to Stage at Actors & Writers London, Hammersmith in late February.
  • She continues to do her medical role-plays for the Health Foundation in helping clinicians have a better understanding of patients with chronic illnesses.

2008

  • She appeared in the winning play On Raglan Road, which was read at Actors & Writers London's writing competition in December.
  • She recently participated as a medical role player for the NHS at their conference in Cambridge.

  • She was assistant director to Martin Cort for a playreading of Misanthrope II, Molière's masterpiece mistranslated by Paddy Gormley, at Actors & Writers London, Hammersmith.
  • She has finished rehearsals and filming Sandra for GSOH.

  • She played Sandra Lawson in a rehearsed playreading of Martin Cort's Death on the Doorstep at the Actors & Writers London, Hammersmith.
  • She was cast as Alek Bardici in the forthcoming feature film Rapture directed by Steve Nesbit and produced by Eve Hawking.  This role was initially male, but she managed to change their minds!  It has been announced that the character will now be known as Anika Bardici.  You can watch her screen test here.

  • She won the TVU 2007 Media Award for Best Actress for her role as Barbara Moore in Richard Reeve's film Like a Rolling Stone. The short film also won the TVU 2007 Media Award for Best Film.
